Blue Moons Workshop :: Saturday 30th June 2007 ::  4.00pm - 7.00pm  ::

Hi,

My name is Rohini and I am a Reiki and Seichim Master/Teacher. I am also a qualified Naturopathic Consultant and in my Third year of a BSc degree in Complementary Medicine specializing in Ayurveda. I also have an interest in Crystals and to that end have been reading and investigating their use for about 15yrs.

Join me for a fun 3hr workshop on Blue Moons and their meaning. Bring along your own crystals to have a moon bath under the full moon in the company of other crystals. Workshop starts at 4pm and runs till the Veggie feast starts at 7pm.

This year we have a Calendar Blue Moon falling on Saturday 30th June 2007. This happens when there are two full moons in a calendar month. This doesn't happen very regularly hence the saying "once in a Blue Moon."

There is another kind of Blue moon where there are four full moons in a quarter rather than three full moons. In this case the third is called a Blue Moon again this doesn't happen very regularly!

30th June marks the end of the first part of the year and a full moon is a good time to focus on finances and goals. A full moon carries enough power to cause very high tides (King Tides) and as the human body is approx 80%water there is an effect on us as well! Research has shown that there is more violence on the nights of full moons and one British police force will be putting more bobbies on the beat on full moon nights on the back of this. We can instead of focussing this energy on negativity or violence, focus our energy and thoughts on positive benefits and reap the rewards!

We will also be making a small talisman to keep in your wallets to help them get and stay full!

Indian mythology has an explanation for the stages of the moon. Come along and see why I Rohini am responsible for the waxing and waning of the moon!

Workshop cost is £15 per person, Veggie feast is £10 and it's all happening at Pepperton Art Gallery & Restaurant, 25 Selhurst Rd, SE25 5PP, just a few mins walk from Selhurst Rail station. Turn right when you exit the station and you can't miss it.

Please remember that places can only be reserved by pre booking in advance.  Please call Celestine or Bula on 020 8683 4462.  Places are limited!

With kind regards
