'Spirit of Sudan' 'Spirit of Sudan', a collection of inspiring photographs, paintings and sculptures by photographer Ron Coello and artist Richard Plummer, will be on display at the Pepperton Gallery, London, to raise awareness of the situation in Sudan and support EAI’s educational programmes in Africa. The event will be opened by the musician, writer and artist, George Melly. “Despite the poverty and conflict that has
practically destroyed the country, the strength and determination of the
people I met was remarkable. Their schools are built from mud, the classes
are overcrowded with little or no resources, yet children love going to
school and getting an education”, says Coello. |
